In May we were excited to share with you Hannah’s upcoming journey to Dance World Cup 2025.

Held against the vibrant backdrop of Burgos, the DWC is one of the most prestigious international dance competitions for young performers, spanning ballet, contemporary, street dance, national folklore, lyrical, jazz, and more. Under the arched ceilings of the Evolution Forum, Hannah shared the stage with thousands of dancers from around the world.

Team England topped the chart coming first with 300 medals in total made up of 86 gold, 106 silver, and 108 bronze. An extraordinary result and well worth celebrating.

Hannah’s dance school, Swindon Academy of Dance, brought home 6 medal places and all but two of their other dances were in the top 10!

Hannah had an absolute blast at Dance World Cup 2025 and says ‘firstly, my teammates participated in the opening parade alongside other schools representing team England, where they had an amazing time meeting new people from all over the world with a shared passion for dance. Then the competition started – it was so fulfilling to see our dances on stage after all the rehearsals and support one another. In breaks between dances, we all enjoyed exploring the cathedral that was round the corner from some of the stages and participating in classes from industry choreographers and college teachers, learning so much and getting to try different styles, meet new people and get insight into the professional world. I’m so proud of how we performed and enjoyed every second of it’.

All at Morris Owen were thrilled to see Hannah’s and Team England’s performance, well done Hannah!
